We got through all the soccer games. It wasn't so bad. Griffin enjoyed his game until the 3rd quarter, then he was done! Zak, (his appointed parent) encouraged him to keep playing, he was almost done. It was 98 degrees!
Quinn's foot got stepped on early on in the game. He survived, although his team lost.
We enjoyed watching the Dodgers and BYU win.
We have been checking our Fantasy teams, getting ready.
We still need to go grocery shopping. We are breaking away from the Hamburgers and Hot Dogs for Sunday. Quinn is the only one left who demands it. We are going for Spaghetti tomorrow.

Miscellaneous Friday
Kylie was home sick with swimmers ear, (read painful).
I ran out of gas! Had to call my VT (Jane Colton) to rescue me! Embarrassed.
Dad brought home yummy sandwiches for dinner and slices of cheesecake.
Griffin didn't hate all of school today, only the color green song was bad.
Watching the Dodgers....they are winning at the 4th inning.
Tomorrow - soccer games for Quinn, Kylie and Griffin.
Yesterday, Zak had his first football game - played Monrovia, guess who won.
I think we should all write Chase a letter so he has some when he gets to TX on Wednesday!

A Couple of Things
This morning I heard Griffin cry out with aghast when Dad told him he had school again today. He was shocked AND appalled! (Crying and wailing.) Well after his hot too, he seemed better.
When I picked him up after school, I asked him how his day was, "it was awful, we had to hear a dumb song about the color red." I hope the his class becomes a little more challenging. Oh, and his recess is too short.
I guess it is a hard, school awakening. The good news is, there is lots of room for improvement.
In other news: I received the hospital bill today for services rendered for my broken leg. You want to guess....the total is $19,994! The insurance agreed to pay $1500, yes! So, the hospital is forgetting $16,994. We owe $1,100. I find this shocking.

Family Prayer
We were watching the Dodger game. They were losing as usual. Suddenly Dewitt hit a 3 run homerun! Yea! We celebrate.
Ok, time to pray. It is Kylie turn to take Steven's turn.
Kylie was set to say the prayer. Taking her breath to begin; our eyes are closed, arms folder and we hear from DAD, "did they just hit another homerun?"
Yes they did. Barroa. It was very exciting.
We finally said family prayer.

First Day, Last Day
Zak, Christopher and Steven had thier first day of school.
Quinn, Griffin, Kylie had their last day of summer!
Zak has Sis. Judy Swift for English. He had no idea she was in our Ward! He was shocked when she spoke to him in an obvious familiar "with your family" way.
I will later add a picture of Zak when he comes home from football. You will like it, it will not have smell-o-vision.
Kylie played with Lydia. She brought home a walkie-talkie from her house, now those two can talk with the walkie-talkies! She is also at soccer tonight.
Quinn helped me grocery shop, drive Griffin to school and in many other ways. He is now at scouts.
Griffin got to go and visit his Kindergarten class. He loved it! I was so happy to see so many boys there. His teacher is Ms. (Mrs.?) Nho. She is so nice, happy and seems to enjoy teaching.
Kerry is pulling a large load today, driving Kylie, Quinn and bathing Griffin and he has a bishopric meeting tonight!
