Griffin had a nice bubble bath on Saturday night. I do not stay in the bathroom with him the whole time, I would melt, and my fear of him drowning is low. I came back later to wash him, dry him, etc.
Now fast forward to Monday night, Kylie needs to shower. I lowered the shower head for her, got the hot water flowing. I noticed a yellow cup on the edge of the tub with liquid in it. I assumed it was water, and knew I had to empty it out so it wouldn't spill. While I walked over to the toilet to dump it out, I wondered if possibly there could be urine in the yellow cup. I dumped the contents in the toilet, and what do you know, the contents were yellow too.
I laughed.

Scrabble Saturday
Today we played the Shrek Scrabble game. It was very interesting. Here are the highlights as reported by Zak:
Dad had to pass his first turn
Mom cheated by looking in the bag for specific letters
Zak's personal favorite: When Zak spelled Quiet and Mom said, "I don't think you are not allowed to use personal pronounces." (In my defense, I thought he was spelling Quinten.)
Zak got one word worth 33 points.
Dad came in 2nd.
Quinn stopped playing.
Griffin enjoyed putting letters on the board. (I was trying to help Griffin play and put letters on the board, thus the cheating by trying to find specific letters in the bag. I was trying to give Griffin a positive Scrabble experience.)
Kylie came up with some great words.
Quinn tried to spell "rist". He was challenged.
I spelled sawgun. No one challenged.
Tonight, I think we will watch 13th Warrior.

Knitting
Kylie and I learned how to knit today. Knitting is all that is now happening.
Oh, I did clean the ninetendo room today, and I cleaned the front bathroom 2 days ago. I asked Zak if he had noticed. He said he had not been in that bathroom since seminary today. I told him it was clean then. "Oh", he said.

It Is Better When You Win It!!
There was a Bingo Night at Highland Oaks Friday night. I asked Dad, Zak, Quinn if they wanted to go, NO, they said. Kylie was already going with the Jensens, so I went and met her there. It was very fun, and I won 2 BINGO'S! Then, I won one of the raffles at the end - I got this Shrek Scrabble game AND 2 $5 gift cards to Border's.
It was all VERY exciting!

Disneyland
Today Griffin and I went to Disneyland. We meant to get there right when it opened, at 9:00. We got there about 9:05. I was pleased with our time. The plan was to go on the new Nemo Submarine ride. You have to be there early if you want to do that ride and NOT stand in an hour long or more line. I got to park in the greatest space, all looked great!
Then on the tram, I hear "the voice" say that the hours for Disneyland today were.....10:00am to 8:00pm. WHAT! We were 45
minutes early!!
It all worked out fine. We doodled, shopped, saw many characters, stood around, Griffin got a lollipop. When Disneyland finally opened, we (meaning 1/2 of the crowd there) walked over to the Nemo ride. We only had to wait 20 minutes. We were glad we did it. It was a nice ride, like being in the Nemo movie....a bit.
I will always check the opening time at Disneyland from now on. I will NOT assume.
