We have 3 soccer games today - SNACKS for Kylie's team

I need to go and cut those oranges for the 1/2 time

I have to play the piano for the Stake Baptism tonight

There is the BYU game on at 5:00pm

If you CA children are reading this and I know you will -you MUST clean your assigned room, ZAK - empty the trash!! Zak, I think you are also up to empty the dishwasher!

True Blue

Every year during Homecoming week BYU has an event called True Blue Football. There are a couple fields to play football on and a giant slip and slide all covered in blue foam. There are several people with hoses walking around keeping the foam coming. It was really fun just to do the slip n slide and tackle people into the foam. In this picture, that shirt that I was wearing was totally white when I first got there. Christopher was here also with other people, I don't have a picture of him (I had to take this with my phone's camera).

Really, it is for my cough and congestion. Let's hope it works.

Stuff

All day long I have been trying to come up with something funny or interesting to blog about. Nothing is coming - so here is real life, what is really going on:

• I blogged a bit this morning on the Payne blog - did you read it?? No one has commented yet, the chicken livers!
• I went lurking on a few other blogs - nothing so interesting.
• I showered!
• I have tried to clean the family room a bit - it is so hard and unpleasant and sweaty!
• I decided on dinner. We are going to have chinese chicken salad. Dad and I LOVE IT! Not so much for the others. Tonight I have decided to make A LOT of extra chicken so the others can mostly eat chicken and I will make rice too, and rolls. Then I am making some cinnamon type rolls for dessert. It should all be very good.
• I picked up Griffin from school
• Kylie has her FIRST violin lesson today! I can't wait to hear about it!
• Kylie also goes to girl scouts today.
• I must help Griffin with his homework.
• Quinn has flag football practice.
• Zak has football practice.
• Dad has a Proposition 8 meeting tonight.
• Oprah is going to have some people on who really know how to save money...like they have $4 dinners (I can't believe that), their cell phone bill is $5 a month (I can't believe that either). I will let you know how that show is.

I am the worst team manager that ever existed. Just look at my team, see what I am doing, and just decide to do the opposite. It'll probably work out best.

Flybacks

So I've been interviewing for a couple weeks with the top 5 accounting firms. October 2 was the first day they were allowed to contact me back and I received 4 calls (PWC doesn't know what they are missing). Everyone always says that the firms try to combine their interview days so that the applicant doesn't have to fly back a bunch of times, but that sure didn't happen to me. I'll be flying back 4 times! Starting on the 15th, I'll be flying home for 4 weekends in a row. It will be fun, but I'll miss a lot of school, so I have some mixed feelings.

Sports Talk With Mom

I asked Mom who the Supreme-O's are this week.

1. Chase ~~~~ he has most "points-for" and is 3-1.

2. Kylie ~~~~ she is 3-1 and is 3rd in "points-for".

And that's it! only 2 this week.

Me and Dad lost our status and Kylie gained it.

Right now, getting a win/a lot of points could get Dad, Steven (even though his team stinks) and/or Me to become a Supreme-O

We like to talk about Steven's team because it has a good record, but low points-for; so I asked mom if his team was "stank, kinda-stank or good" she only said "well, his team has had a lot of luck"

She says the over-all best team is definitely Chase and the worst is Quinn, because his team is "full of broken down old ladies"






These are all things mom said and are all Mom's opinions, not mine. (except the stuff in parenthesis, that's just me)
