Happy Birthday To You!

Today is Kerry's birthday!

We celebrated by going to the taco truck in Pasadena. We had a streak there for a month or so when we went all the time. It has now been over a year since we went. It was enjoyed by all. We all got out to the car, and it did NOT start! We hooked up to one of our other car's battery and got our own jump.

Then we came home to Marie Callender's German Chocolate Pie. It was VERY good. Thanks to Steven for picking it up.

This is the first year in a long time that Kerry has been home on his birthday. He is usually camping or hiking with the boy scouts. Of course, last year, he was just about to start a cruise.

I finally got some pictures and picture editing software on this little computer of Christopher's. Here is what you have been missing -

The MAKE-UP BIRTHDAY!

Daddy told Griffin that he would get him a present for his make-up party. Griffin liked the Mach 5 that I got him, but he really wanted a Mach 6! Who knew. Daddy got him the Mach 6.

BOY SCOUT CAMP

Zak and Quinn came home on Saturday from camp. They were gone a week. They apparently did not bring enough socks. I guess it was more wet and dirty than they expected.

Quinn went to church on Sunday. He passed the sacrament, sat on the stand as the Bishop's messenger. This was the best he could do with his hair. He tried to push it down. It made me laugh. I will take any entertainment I can.

Last, but not least....

This is our chlorine container in the pool. Steven thought it looked weird, he tried to describe it to me, I didn't get it, I told him to just take a picture of it and show me. He did. It is VERY weird. I have never seen the chlorine look like this.

Anyone out there know?

Apparently, my uploading pictures to this blog is ruining the boys DOTA game! They have been wondering why their game was going so slow. Oops. I will post the rest of the pictures later. I know you will wait with baited breath!

Griffin had his make-up birthday party today.

Wednesday - August 6, 2008

Kylie helped me clean up my stuff today. So nice! She helped me a lot.

Kylie also got to play with Brianna.

Griffin got to play with Vincent.

Daddy went to work, filled the dishwasher, help me a lot too.

Christopher drove K and G to swimming lessons.

Steven did more comparative analysis.

We had a great dinner, thanks, Ginger!

Tuesday - What Did We Do?

Dad - great driver-arounder, took Kylie and Griffin places, then he started his real day at work, then off to Bishopric meeting!

Mom - I washed my hair! Kept my leg up. Tonight I will watch Wipeout then I Survived a Japanese Game Show. This morning, Kylie and I watched our recorded The Mole. We enjoyed it. I also caught up on my thank you notes. Oh, I also blogged a bit....on most my blogs.

Christopher - he had the morning off of "Mother/driving" duty. He worked, went to lunch, did a service, helped missionaries, worked some more, went to Fry's. Productive.

Steven - Worked on his "Comparative Analysis" day of work. He did it too.

Chase - did missionary work, wrote us a letter - check out his blog...chasemission.blogspot.com

Zak - had a great day at camp Cherry Valley, a boy scout camp

Quinn - great day at camp Cherry Valley, did some rifle shooting

Kylie - played her 3rd tennis tournament game. It was close, but she lost. Then she went to swimming lessons, helped me, made me lunch, played with Lydia.

Griffin - Swimming lessons, had a nap, made nachos...twice....picture will be coming later.

She Plays a Seed Next

Miss Kylie is our little tennis champion today.
She won her 1st and 2nd games of the tournament today.
Tomorrow she plays at 8:00am.

Kylie and Griffin also started a new round of swimming lessons today. They both loved them.

I continued to recuperate on the couch.

Griffin also got to play with Vincent.

Steven got to unload another truck at work today, not so fun.

Christopher got several calls on his business phone today. He also got to get in touch with his maternal, nurturing side.

Zak and Quinn started their week at Camp Cherry Valley.
