Recap of Summer 2012 ... July

Quinn found an EAGLE PROJECT!

At the last minute, we decided to drive up the road to Myrtle ave where they do fireworks at the Monrovia Library. We parked; ran down the street and watched about 23 minutes of fireworks!

I took GREAT pictures!!

There was the Stake Play, "Crazy for You". I curled these girls hair every day for 5 days. It was a treasure!

On the 24th, we got the Eagle Project started!!

 He sent us lots of fish and we did eat it!

Zak got his plaque put up at church!

 It was GRIFFIN'S 9th Birthday

Kerry and I also celebrated our 31 Wedding Anniversary.
Steven celebrated his 27th birthday!

Wow - all this, just in July!

Let's Do A SUMMER 2012 Recap!

We started the summer by dropping Zak off at the MTC on June 20th:

On the way home, we stopped at Zion's National Park:

 We took a tour on this tram. It was fun!

 The sights were AMAZING!

We went on this hike

It was all so beautiful!

We LOVED it!

THEN we drove to the Grand Canyon:

 Before we got to the Grand Canyon, we had to drive through a burned down forest.

You know how I like to drive by Burned Down things...(some of you do)

THEN, Griffin went to Cub Scout Camp!

 He LOVED the Archery!

 Quinn jumped in the pool to finish his swimming merit badge.

He had to jump in fully clothed, take off his clothes; make his clothes into a life saving device.

That is just JUNE!!

I'm all in

I am selling my soul to get a decent date now.  As long as I'm moving, I might as well change up whatever I can to make it work.  Apparently girls actually like guys who dress in more than just whatever shorts and a t-shirt.

I bought V-neck shirts.  I bought Vans sneakers.  I got a new watch.  I even bought some skinny jeans.  Alyssia and the (self proclaimed) gay American Eagle worker got me an entire new wardrobe.

I'll post a real picture of some of my new clothes as well as the low-down on my Alaska trip soon.

Utah Home Show 2012 Edition

Griffin and I went up to Utah to see the

PARADE OF HOMES

Nana, Griffin and I all enjoyed seeing 11 houses in 7 hours!

 I tried to be so sneaky. I wanted to take this women's picture, but didn't want her to know. I made it seem to be taking a picture of the ghastly fireplace/TV/wooden wall. The woman's hair is the MOST fascinating thing in the room
