Let's Do A SUMMER 2012 Recap!

We started the summer by dropping Zak off at the MTC on June 20th:

On the way home, we stopped at Zion's National Park:

 We took a tour on this tram. It was fun!

 The sights were AMAZING!

We went on this hike

It was all so beautiful!

We LOVED it!

THEN we drove to the Grand Canyon:

 Before we got to the Grand Canyon, we had to drive through a burned down forest.

You know how I like to drive by Burned Down things...(some of you do)

THEN, Griffin went to Cub Scout Camp!

 He LOVED the Archery!

Griffin grew some flowers for cubs, Kylie took my picture and her picture

 Quinn jumped in the pool to finish his swimming merit badge.

He had to jump in fully clothed, take off his clothes; make his clothes into a life saving device.

Oh My Goodness!

That is just JUNE!!

I'm all in

I am selling my soul to get a decent date now.  As long as I'm moving, I might as well change up whatever I can to make it work.  Apparently girls actually like guys who dress in more than just whatever shorts and a t-shirt.

I bought V-neck shirts.  I bought Vans sneakers.  I got a new watch.  I even bought some skinny jeans.  Alyssia and the (self proclaimed) gay American Eagle worker got me an entire new wardrobe.

I'll post a real picture of some of my new clothes as well as the low-down on my Alaska trip soon.

Utah Home Show 2012 Edition

Griffin and I went up to Utah to see the

PARADE OF HOMES

Nana, Griffin and I all enjoyed seeing 11 houses in 7 hours!

 I tried to be so sneaky. I wanted to take this women's picture, but didn't want her to know. I made it seem to be taking a picture of the ghastly fireplace/TV/wooden wall. The woman's hair is the MOST fascinating thing in the room

Nine IS Fine!

Griffin turned 9 today!

 He opened presents

 He got a compass; then instructions to follow to find his last present:

That made one happy boy!

Then we went to the beach

 He caught sand crabs

 Quinn went out to catch a few waves

 Griffin followed his lead

 Oh, we saw Wonder Woman and Captain America!

 He got his birthday cake

Yellow cake with white frosting with some of the cake with no frosting.

So many candles on fire, you can't see the cake!

One Fish, Two Fish

Tonight's dinner was provided by Christopher!!

Those fish, in the previous posts, a little portion was shipped to our house.

I grilled some of it up tonight! Yummy, tasty dinner.

Sewing Bee!

This is Kylie's 2nd item of clothing that she has ever sewn.

We started at 8:00pm.

We shopped for fabric after dinner; came home and sewed!
