TWERPS!!

The
correct
procedure
after receiving a package, (read toiletries, medicine, shorts, t-shirt) from someone in the mail is to contact them, tell them you received it, tell them how lovely they are, how nice it was for them to send it and especially how beautiful they are.

Tuesdays

Tuesdays are full!

Griffin has pre-school - he studied the letter "i" today.

I shopped at Wal-mart and Ralphs.

Pick-up Griffin.

Lunch - Griffin had Little Smokies. I had a sandwich

Kylie came home from school.

Quinn came home from school.

I picked up Zak.

Home to make a baby blanket for a new mother in our ward (the Ludwig's).

Make sloppy joes for dinner - should be ready by 4:30 so boys can eat, digest a bit before their sport event. I made enough for the Ludwig family.

Dinner

Take Quinn to soccer, Zak to football, dinner to Ludwigs.

Home, do dishes.

Go pick-up Quinn from soccer, drop off at scouts.

Griffin to bed.

Read to Kylie.

Blog.

Will pick up Quinn and Zak.

May or may not have to read depending on when Dad comes home from his Bishopric meeting.

10:00 watch Cane.

BED!
**I thought I would add a picture. I googled "busy person". That picture is one of the items that came up. It said, no matter how busy you are, you are never to busy for a hug. How true!

General Conference

I feel compelled to make a post about General Conference.

I loved it! I enjoyed all my note taking.

I loved President Eyring. He is always so uplifting.

I enjoyed Elder Cook's talk (sorry, couldn't find a picture.)

I loved President Hinckley's funny sense of humor.

Loved Elder Oak's talk.
P.S. While looking at Hannah Terrill's website, I saw that SHE had a picture of Elder Cook. I got it from her site. Thanks Hannah!

During the morning session on Sunday, Griffin cried for "too" during the last hour. Then during the second Sunday session, Griffin entertained himself, then brought his stuffed animals out by the TV, layed down on the floor, covered himself with a blanket and fell to sleep. That was REALLY nice.

Zak Played Football...So Of Course There Are Pictures

Zak played more football on Wednesday, October 3rd...I have pictures!!
Remember he is #23 If you click on the picture, you should be able to pick Zak out
You can see his face through his mask.
ok, here is a close-up
come on - pick him out!

Griffin took my camera while Zak was NOT playing and took a self-portrait. He could be a famous photographer one day, this picture could bring us millions.

There you go.
Arcadia Apache's freshmen record is perfect...
never a win.
It is still fun to go and watch Zak play. With my camera skills you all can enjoy it too.

Fantasy Football Prodictions

these are my predictions of who will win there games, and by how many points.

First up: Quinn vs. Steven
Steven is going to win by 4 points, it will be close, but Steven's Tom Brady and Reggie Bush will each get Steven big points this weak

2nd: Dad vs Mom
Mom will win, by 47 points. All dad's good players have a bye game; and I think Mom's LT will do good this game.

3rd Me vs Christopher
I'ma gonna wina. by 9 points.I say this mostly because I don't know anything about any of Christopher's players. Neither of us will score very high though.

4th Chase vs No One
I actually think he will do good this game, to bad he has a bye game. I'm guessing he gets 82 points; maybe he should trade away Drew Brees and get a good RB/WR

in other news: My banner is by far the best, and deserving of an award

and we all want to know why it says the team "Provo Obese Walrusses"'s owner name is "Jimmy stacey"

A Goofy Day

Griffin and I spent a few hours in "The Land" today. Here are our picture highlights:
The first thing Griffin wanted to do was ride the train that take us to the dinosaurs! He loved it. I tried to take a picture, but the room was very dark, and there was glass protecting us from the dinosaurs and my camera had the flash on, I couldn't see to take the flash off. Then we went to Autopia. This time he drove quite well!
Notice his driver's license in his hand. He is very proud of that.

Next we did the Merry-Go-Round.
He always sits on this horse. It is closest to the dragon picture.

Then it was on to Dumbo.

By the time it was time to hurry home, we were tired. So we hopped on the horse drawn carriage to take us back up Main Street. I thought it was funny that we had to stare at the horse's behind.

Ok, you may ask - What is this picture?
See the lady with the short, mostly red hair?
I saw her while riding the Merry-Go-Round.
She was around 55 - 65 yrs. old. Her hair was mostly red, with these streaks of white with black tips. It was very odd, I tried to get a good picture to show you. This is not it, although it was the best I could do.

New Calling

So I got a church calling yesterday. Any guesses? You will never guess it in a million years. I am the Elders Quorum pianist. No, I never told anybody I could play the piano. In fact in our information sheet, I even said I couldn't. But they called me anyway. The piano has an electric thing on it where I can tell it what song to play if I don't know how to actually play it myself. So what I do is just go press the button. Chase said my real calling should be Elders Quorum DJ.

I got a 174 in bowling yesterday. That is my record so far.

That is my news.

Gee Wiz

After teaching a fantastic preschool all about the letter G, as a review, while the children were eating Grapes, I asked them what letter we learned about today. The only child to answer was Griffin. The others just looked at me. I had to prompt each one.
Earlier, one little boy had to go potty. I showed him the front bathroom. He said he wanted to use my bathroom, I told him to use the front bathroom. He said it was closed. "Closed"? I said, I walked over and saw the door was open, "what do you mean?" "See - closed!", Vincent showed me. I told him that was just the lid. All you had to do was lift it up.
Zak had backpack trouble today! After practice some boy took the wrong backback...left his for Zak. We have been calling all afternoon, but no one answers the phone. What a problem!
Tonight for dinner - french toast. It was great!

HA!

I ruined Dad's winning streak! Just thought I should point that out. I discovered that ESPN tells you when people are injured or have a bye week, so I actually moved my players around to get a decent team.

In other news, I study all day. That's about it. This week I don't have any accounting classes, just 3 huge tests that are harder than any test I have taken in my life. I took my financial test yesterday and it was pretty bad. I missed questions like Manute Bol missed open jumpers and Tim missed his first classes. Hopefully everyone else did really bad also and the curve will give me a decent grade. Today I am reviewing about 200 pages of material for my Systems test tomorrow. This is not very interesting material.

Also, I started a Utopia WoL account. I am going to whoop on Bub's kingdom single-handedly. Zak is really the only person this last part was for.

I love you all!

Teacher Prep

Monday, Oct 1st - mostly I got ready for PRE-SCHOOL. It is my day tomorrow. I have planned some great things to do with the letter G!

Zak, Quinn and Kylie did the usual - school, homework, Kylie had soccer and Zak had football.

I made chicken pot pie for dinner. It was good.

I'll let you know how our fun day of G is tomorrow.
